Sucked into the XBOX 360

Yes I am now a pawn in the Microsoft empire, wasn’t I already? I mean, they had me naked serving Windows 7 hot dogs with mustard I am that pleased with it. In all seriousness, I needed a games console, something to fill any spare time I have. It was always out of the Wii or the 360 but I just couldn’t have a Wii, I mean why would I want to stand there flicking the controller around like a fairy on my own if I don’t have friends round that day?

My gamertag is Traygon123, if you have XBOX Live then add me, and yes I can advertise my profile on here as it’s my blog! I am normally found shouting and ranting on Halo 3 or being a soar loser on Halo Wars, haven’t really ventured online in any other game just yet.

I am finding the console to be fantastic, it really has become the entertainment hub I was after, I could even have Sky streamed through it, if I was dumb enough to pay for such a crap service that is (I really do hate Sky with a passion). Only main concern is – no iPlayer on the 360, get that sorted out with the BBC please Microsoft.

I do indeed have the console hooked up to my Samsung 22″ HD monitor, which has a personality, and the picture quality & graphics from games are just mind blowing. I thought playing the likes of Call of Duty, Oblivion, Unreal Tournament 3 on medium quality on my desktop was cool, this is just ‘rad’ man. Very ‘raaaad’!

Having the XBOX 360 since December just gone, I have spent around three thousand points I believe and have bought some classic games, Sonic the Hedgehog to name one of them, along some themes for the dashboard and add-ons for my purchased games. I was somewhat disappointed that I couldn’t spend any points on a mankini costume for my Avatar. I am also satisfied thus far with the wide selection of games available and will look forward to many more years of gaming in the future, or until developers literally run out of ideas for video games.
