Thanks for your reply Peter! I'm glad it works for you :) Stuart, I shall post on my blog when (or if) I come across a new driver or if 10.4 brings an 'out of the box' fix for the graphics card issue. After getting problems ironed out, we need to move on and catch the 3D support goal. Ahhhh wiggly windows and the 3D cube on our v5535's!

Cheers,
Rich

It isn't to do with my hardware as it runs fine on both Vista and XP. Linux is a bit stressed out with my motherboard but it runs so it has to be a software related problem! I meant the disk burning utility in Windows 7 :P The one in Ubuntu is fantastic! Only problem with the 360 is that it wont read the CD text file to provide track names and artists :(

Many thanks for the link to the .deb file. I am running Ubuntu 9.10, and that file worked great for me. I have yet to come across the problem that you described, the only additional thing I did was once it was installed and the screen came up looking good, I went to the display settings in the System - Preferences menu and changed the setting to another screen resolution, and then set it back to the correct one. Whether that prevented me having any problems, I don't know, but possibly? Worth a try anyway!!

Cheers and thanks again,

Peter.
