How one can stick at fishing day in and day out is normally looked upon as either sad or bizzar. To be honest it’s the best skill to train, make money off and do other things until your character is screaming at you to move him to a new spot or his arms are about to snap off holding too much weight.
Although the experience gain isn’t the best in a non-combat skill, it does well against the likes of mining or alternatives.

I previously had the evaluation copy for a good 4 months and was impressed, although I did allow the machine to slowly fail with fragmentation, screwed registry entries and viruses. This time round I am doing things properly, enough fooling around.
Since I am going to get a nice £100 graphics card, my onboard graphics will have to make do. Don’t underestimate the power of the XFX 8200 motherboard. This baby plays RuneScape on full with x4 Anti-Aliasing, Oblivion on medium and Fallout very nicely.
I actually got round to doing the Turkey filled event the other day, forgotten what the reward was, if there even was one. All I remember doing was literally humping my screen as I saw extremely high hits ranging from 170 to nearly 200!
That might not seem much compared to others but my character isn’t ad strong and quite frankly – I don’t give a shit. I would love to show a screen take but I just installed Windows 7 on my main rig and forgot to transfer my screenshot folder.
In a way I was dissapointed, I didn’t do the Halloween event so I can’t compare but it was boring, short and if it didn’t have high hits present then I would have swore my head off at the pathetic attempt to provide us with a break from the game itself. I am really looking forwar to the Christmas event and believe that this is just a one off ‘extra’.
